Student Activity and Engagement:
Using Weebly, students will be creating a webpage that presents information on vaccination and diseases. In the form of a group assignment, students will analyse information from secondary sources on the effectiveness of vaccination programs in preventing some once common diseases such as smallpox, diphtheria and polio. This activity allows students to collaborate ideas and data online and present with text, images and hyperlinks. Students can easily access each others' work and the blog element on Weebly also allows teachers and students to add comments and feedbacks on the webpage.
