Student Activity and Engagement:
Students will undertake a group assignment to create a blog post using WordPress presenting ideas and information using text, images, videos and links on human pathogens. Each group will be assigned a pathogen type such as viruses, bacteria and fungi, and groups will compile findings to form a complete blog where students will use as a learning resource to compare and distinguish between the different types of pathogens and the diseases they cause. The blog post nature on WordPress allows teachers and students to give comments and ask questions on each other's post, as a result creating an interactive and peer-reviewed learning platform.
